The History of the UNITED STATES NATIONAL PRAYER COUNCIL – In Honor of Rev. Dr Ted Rose, Founder

The United States National Prayer Council was birthed, in 1984 in Washington D.C.

About 100 Christian Leaders across the nation attended a “PRAYER SUMMIT”, to cry out to God for America.

During this time of prayer, Dr. Ted Rose became the Chairman.

This new ministry was then known as “The United States National Prayer Council”.

For many years the U.S.N.P.C. lead prayer for churches, STATES, nations.

then nations joined asked to join us. There are 58 nations that have joined the USNPC with directors for prayer.

The foundation of this ministry is prayer. Our heart is to cover America with prayer in every aspect of life.

Dr. Rose led this ministry faithfully, until the time he went home to be with Jesus in 2017. Before Dr. Rose’s passed, Yale Kim took the helm as the new Chairman.

With a new Chairman comes new time of change and with that a

NEW NAME:

“THE PRAYER COUNCIL of the UNITED STATES.”
