Christmas 2023

Christmas 2023

Wow! What a wild year it has been. Thanks be to The Lord as we know, He is the same Yesterday, Today, and Forever!

As things are rapidly changing in our lives daily and in the world around us, we can rely on God’s steadfast faithfulness and unmovable love to keep us at peace, “And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus” (Philippians 4:7). We really need that kind of peace.

The Prayer Council has been through a crazy but glorious year. The Lord is moving in the ministry of prayer, encouraging each of us to draw closer to him and to each other. Although most of us live in different states, we’ve grown closer through our prayer meetings, phone calls and zoom meetings. It’s been a great year of interacting with each other in fellowship! We are excited and look forward to seeing God’s glory in ministry, in 2024. We need prayer now more than we have in the past and many are looking for teachings on prayer and worship. We look forward to leading worship and prayer meetings, in addition to teaching prayer in churches, retreats, home groups and wherever the Lord leads.

If you would like to host a prayer meeting or prayer workshop in your area, connect with us through our website www.theprayercouncil.com. Our Facebook, page is “The Prayer Council USA.” We also have a private prayer group on Facebook with the same name. Remember to invite others who love our Lord Jesus and love to pray, to join our page and our private group.

Christmas is my favorite time of the year and I also love the old Christmas carols. One of my favorites is,” Hark, the Herald.” The words are so powerful!

Hark, the Herald – means: “Listen an important announcement from a king is coming!”

Our King is saying to pay attention! A new King has been born who will Bring GOOD NEWS to all men. Peace on Earth!

Mercy mild, God and sinners are reconciled! (That is GOOD NEWS!).

Joyful all the nations rise and join the triumph of the Skies! (That means Jesus has triumphed over Satan and the victory is ours!).

With angelic hosts proclaiming CHRIST is born in Bethlehem.

Christ means Savior-our Savior, our redeemer, and our salvation!

With all the craziness and worldly news, remember this is why we pray and minister through the Prayer Council. Let’s continue to share Christ’s Good News, and he will reign in our nation, homes, schools, and lives!

Please keep us in your prayers!

MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!

US Director  The Prayer Council USA
